Samsung LNT5271F 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

I love it! Delivery was extremely smoothe -- the guys took care of everything. The picture is fantastic. So happy with the purchase.

I have had my Samsung 52" LCD TV now for 9 months and am still blown away by the picture every time I turn it on! I have been to ALL of the major stores and have seen all of the major brands, and have NEVER seen a TV with a picture BETTER than this one! (some come close, but no cigar...not even SONY (full of baloney!!!). If you're thinking of buying a SONY or one of the others that charge you for the HONOR of having their NAME in your house, FORGET IT!!! SAMSUNG is better and for less $$$. And, before I forget, let me sing the praises of AMAZON. This was the FIRST big purchase I have ever made online and I was a little hesitant to do so, but the TV arrived in perfect condition, was EASY to set up and is now proudly hanging on my living room wall, where it blows away all who see it! Thank you SAMSUNG and AMAZON, I would do it again in a NY minute, and can't recommend you both enough!

I'm usually not confident in buying electronic items (specially 52" TV) through the internet due to incidents that may arise such as how can it be returned if defective? How can I safely handle this huge item in a box by myself?
All this concerns immediately disappear when the Samsung LNT5271F 52" 1080P 120Hz LCD HDTV was delivered at my house by two courteous gentleman. They helped me setup the TV on its stand and made it sure that the TV and remote work perfectly before asking me to sign the delivery papers. The moment I turned on the TV, I was impressed by its clear picture and good sound from the built-in speakers.
When I played my regular DVD movies, the picture were so vibrant that my wife and I enjoyed watching movies and TV programs that day.
We're both retire so I consider this a good investment for I really got my money's worth. This TV was accurately described by the seller and he really meant business. His choice of delivery people made his buyers comfortable. A real trustworthy seller and will surely recommend to all my friends!!!

Ive been following this tv for over a year. went to best buy's and circuit city's to watch it almost every other day. I've read alot on these sets about problems with the tv (VAPORS, STUTTERING, ETC) especially on the avs forums so i started looking at the newer model (ln52a650). However the 71 series looks so much cooler and the price is unbeatable so I ordered from amazon last saturday. figured i have 30 days to return to amazon if there is any issues. got a call from ceva (the shipping co.) on tuesday to setup delivery on thursday. wednesday rolls by and i decide to call and see if i can pickup the item since im about 10 min away from ceva's recieving center here in torrance(even though tracking said it wasnt in torrance yet, dont believe the tracking it updates a day or so late). sure enough i got the tv in my house that same day.

what an amazing tv!
on thursday I watched the nba finals, looked so real, it was unreal! jaw dropping. later that night got metal gear solid 4 for my ps3(does 1080p by the way) - a dream come true!!
blu-ray movies are phenominal, and i looove the amp feature!
here is a few points I wasnt clear on before I got the tv that im clear on now:
-amp works on all sources and dramatically affects games and dvd's as much as it does blu-rays
-halo 3 gets sooo silky smooth, its unreal! psone games look amazingly smooth believe it or not! gears of war on 360 gets a huge boost in framerate (you really have to see it to believe it) and I havnt expirienced any lag with any of these games.
-you have got to see "cars" with amp on high, it looks really real
- my set is the newest 2004 firmware(came with it) and has no issues whatsoever even with amp on high
take the plunge, its the best 1899 youll ever spend!!

I did a lot of research before I finally decided to purchase this TV. It has lot of good features in par with Sony XBR.

I strongly recommend in purchasing this TV.
