Doesnt quite lose a star for the little flaws...
I've had my e250 for a full two years now. Overall, it's been the most reliable piece of electronics I've ever owned. It's put up with all sorts of abuse (both physical and software). Of course it has frozen a few times, but reset right back to normal. In Short:

Pros:
-Good Battery life (still holds 12+ hours charge after 2 years)
-Good Sound Quality (at least with my Koss headphones)
-Great Display (even covered with scratches I can still read it under sunlight)
-Durability (ive dropped it, hit it against stuff, and even dipped it in water)
-Support for up to 2gb microSD card (doubled my mp3 capacity for $10)
-Great user community (forums, alternate firmware, etc...)
-Feature-rich (voice recorder and radio both work fine)
-Intuitive controls,Album Art Support, Incredible Price

Cons:
-No native cyrillic/unicode support
-Screen scratches easily (only alters appearance, not usability)
-Dust gets under the screen (again, does not affect usability)
-Slows down when microSD is loaded with music (switching tracks can take 3-5 seconds)
-Annoying "Updating Library" message when using microSD

Notes:
-To reset the sansa when frozen, hold pwr button for 20 seconds.
-Instructions for cleaning dust from under the screen are found on google. Requires a small screwdriver and can of compressed air.

In conclusion, a great product that I will hopefully be using for another 2+ years. Recommended to music affecionados and casual listeners alike.

nice
Bought this for my husband's birthday. He wanted something small and easy to work. So far he has been very happy with it.

So easy even I could use it.
This is the first MP3 player I have ever used and it was simple. The sound is great, the screen is clear and the battery life has been better than expected. I had a little trouble getting my sausage fingers to manipulate the controls at first but soon developed a technique and now I have no problem.
The radio is a great fueature, I was tempted to get a model without an FM tuner but that would have been a mistake.
I would reccomend this player to anyone!

Rugged little players
I have gotten two of these for my kids. They are feel more rugged and solid than IPODS and are cheep. Controls are not as easy and smooth as IPOD's but for small kids they are great.

Love it !!
I love it !! I was able to purchase a 4 meg upgrade and now have 6 GB for all my music. I have been confused by it ( transferring playlists from my PC ),but after reading the manual it (duh) worked out. the only thing I would change is making the plugin module internal and having the device treat all memory as contiguous. Sound is great (but then I'm older and went to a lot of live concerts when I was younger, and was always close to the speakers ) and works for me and all my favorite 60's and early 70's music. Yeah !! Right F%^*^%% on !!!
