Disappointment based on positive reviews
I own the brown version of these paper towels and only use them to cover food in the microwave as they are not useful for anything else. I delayed buying the white ones for that reason. Then I read all the positive reviews that it was close to Bounty (brand I use and love) and much stronger than the brown.I can assure you this item is NOT even close to Bounty, but is moderately better than the brown version. After it is wet, it starts to decompose but not as readily as the brown version. After I use up this case, I will not purchase either the brown or white again. I do happily use this brand's toilet paper (except when guests come) and I love their lavender scented dish washing soap and laundry products. Monday, December 10th, 2007

Great product
These work just as well as your average bleached paper towels as far as absorption and durability goes. I have used the unbleached version of these paper towels and found them to be far to stiff and not very absorbent. One gripe is that to tear off a square you have to be careful or you end up with an uneven piece, not a big deal but kind of annoying. Monday, October 29th, 2007

cheap quality
The paper towel is cheap quality. The sheets never rip apart where it is supposd to. Next time I will stick with Bounty. Saturday, October 27th, 2007

Thicker and stronger than the Natural, expensive
I tried both the bleached white and the brown natural versions of these towels and I BY FAR prefer the white; not because of the color, but because you get more for your money.
The white towels are not as soft feeling as your grocery store preferred brands. They actually feel rather rough; but they are quite strong and lint free. Both versions are the same size towel, about 1/3rd smaller than your standard papertowel. The brown version feels much thinner and is not nearly as strong. On both, the perforations are not cut very well and it's nearly impossible to tear off a single sheet. I can use the white towel and hang it on my kitchen faucet to dry and use it again; not so with the brown version.
I'd buy the white towel again, but I wouldn't buy the brown natural towel.

Antoher Great Seventh Generation
Seventh Generation Paper Towels, White, 2-Ply Sheets, 3-Count Packages (Pack of 10)
I really enjoy these paper towels, and that this is an environmentally sound decision I make. I would love the company to make a select-a-size option, as I find myself tearing just a small amount off a sheet for smaller spills, eventhough each sheet is 8" x 10 7/8" in size. I would rather tear off a conservative amount than use another brand that does not recycle or has additives brightening their product lines.
I highly recommend this product. I am so greatful that I can have it delivered in bulk to our home. Many times I will use the paper towels as napkins, and although the best decision for the environment would be to use cleaning cloths or fabric napkins and wash them, I need to retain a germ free environment because of an auto-immune condition, so do need to wipe and discard. This is the best product for my needs, and I think that using recycled paper products is a gift we cannot afford to take for granted.
