Sharp Aquos LC42D64U 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

The white glove shipping treatment was great. Box arrived in perfect condition and the shippers unboxed, assembled, placed the unit and waited for me to get it turned on to check picture and sound. Setup was pretty straight forward and the picture is outstanding. Also, the sound from the integrated speakers is surprisingly good for mere 15W output. For the price, this was the best 42" LCD out there and the quality throughout is readily apparent.

Compact and lightweight as advertized. Excellent picture quality. On time delivery and excellent communication. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Just one negative to point out. Sound quality of the built-in speakers is below expectations.

Have only had the Aquos for a month, but very impressed with its performance. Picture clarity and sharpness are outstanding. DVD's on our upconverting DVD player are beautiful. Menus are intuitive and easy to use. Has more capabilities than we'll ever use, but can see where it will be an excellent set to pair with a home theater.

Price was pretty good and the HDTV has a great picture most of the time but on fast-moving images, in shows such as American gladiators, it will often break the image into blocks and the picture shears... but on most nature channels and sporting events the picture is wonderful

The picture quality on this set is amazing especially on the Hi Def 1080i broadcasts. I am very happy so far with this purchase. Now it's a matter of seeing how well the set continues to operate as it gets older. The shipper was actually able to deliver the set before the estimated delivery date so I was able to enjoy it on Christmas Day.
