Brigand Love

Lacey is competing with a dead woman. Her boyfriend Alex is always
comparing her to his fiancée Rebecca, who has passed away . While she
likes Alex, Lacey knows she'll never be able to win his affection.
Lacey, leaving on a business trip is unsure of where her relationship
with Alex is heading. At the fund raiser, a roguishly handsome man
approaches Lacey mistaking her for someone else. Throughout the night
the man watches her. But then, suddenly, he disappears. Lacey feels as
if she knows this man. She sees things that look vaguely familiar. She
hears a tale that resembles a dream she has had. When Lacey purchases
an old journal at an auction the following night, she discovers that
she has a deep connection with her mystery man. A connection that holds
the key to his eternal happiness.

Brigand Love is not all what I expected. I assumed that Lacey would
find love and passion but that's not quite what happens. Although I
felt somewhat saddened for Lacey, I felt hopeful for her as well. The
ending is not what I would have wanted to see happen but it was a
pleasant surprise. Brigand Love is quick but it packs a powerful
emotional punch. It's surprisingly romantic and I found myself smiling
at the end.
