Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD Player, Black

I've been using this player for a couple of months now on my spare TV (Analog NTSC). It plays my CD-R discs, is compact, and is a keeper.

Pros (important to me):
* Inexpensive and excellent value
* Compact size and packaging
* Plays CD-R
* Has all the cables plus batteries for the remote
* Very nice remote with intuitive button layout
* Owners manual is downloadable, in PDF formant, from Sony website

Cons:
* No RF, or coax, connections
* A little slow to load, maybe 2 minutes
* The remote has a TV power button, but doesn't support my older Panasonic TV
* Remote is not backlit

Overall, I highly recommend this Sony DVP-SR200P.

For some reason, I'm actually getting more volume than my old player - which is a good thing as I'm usually on my elliptical trainer. I like the "resume" feature on previously played DVDs. Otherwise, it's a simple, easy to use, high quality player.

I use it as a CD player. You remember CDs don't you? Sound is great and features are easy to use. The remote makes it easy to switch functions.

I needed a cheap DVD player that had good features. It's well worth the money. As others have said, don't use this for a home theater set-up. It's great for the guest room, for kids, bedroom, etc. The only thing I do not was no S-video output. I kind of wanted that instea dof the old RCA plugs.

D.V.D. plays well, responds well to the remote and is a small convinient size. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't play damaged/scratched disks well at all, so I would suggest to clean the disks before using them. Overall it is a wonderful little dvd player and I havent had any problems with it, which is nice because it was cheap!
