Meets all expectations
Surprisingly long battery life. After doing the research, this Sony was the one to buy, and it didn't disappoint.

Great Sound
Have had 3 shower radios before this one. This one is superior, by far. Great Sound. Radio really easy to hang or stand in shower or bath. I haven't taken the time yet to figure out how to use the other features such as weather. But, if you want news or music from the radio in the shower, i cleanly recommend.

If listening to something and it's time to get out of shower, it can be made loud enough to hear far away. Also has timer shut off.

I've had this for about four years...
This is a great radio. My 87 year old mother has one in her kitchen, my sister has one in her bathroom and so do I. The batteries last forever, it's simple to use, it's nice looking, has a nice feel in your hand and sounds good too. Can't ask for much more for the price. Fits really well on the window sill, easy to ready clock, and it has a shut off timer. I love it.

Good sound but not long lasting
Just tossed my third Sony shower radio----lasts between one and two years with daily use. Good sound for sure but I'm done with this concept; somehow shower steam and electronics just don't make sense

Singing in the rain...
First impressions: felt durable right out of the box with some decent instructions. The radio "feels" waterproof, or as the product description says "water resistant." Put some batteries (not included) in it and hung it up. The antenna is a little unsightly, but hey, it's in a shower. The acoustics in my shower are pretty bad, so the weather channel is pretty much useless because I can't make out what is being reported.

After a few weeks: Radio is a great addition to my morning shower before work. Sound is good and I even noticed that you can listen to local TV station audio, so I have the news on a good bit. Batteries seem to be hanging in there nicely.

Why 4 stars (not 5): It's a shower radio that at $50 is a little expensive.

Described in 5 Phrases: waterproof, sounds good, a little expensive, great start to the day, heavy
