I think that David Cook will do very well. I am soooo glad that he
won, he deserved it!!!

I love how 'pop' music becomes more and more dumbed down, and unoriginal with each passing year. I miss when there were actually talented musicians out there that put good music out. David Cook is just someone with a decent voice, singing how they tell him to sing, with they words that he has been given. Simply boring.

This is another American Idol "star" created by hype. Compared to most of the really bad performers on this season (Amanda, Jason, et al.), he's a cut above. Compared to other performers in the marketplace, he's mediocre at best singing musical pablum.

Except for the phrase "magic rainbows" in The Time of My Life, the lyrics and sentiment of this song are great. DC really is having the time of his life right now and he deserves it. This sound showcases the best of his vocal abilities: sometimes gentle, sometimes rough, with soaring high notes at the end. Don't worry DC can rock, go check out his previous albums with Axium and his solo effort, Analog Heart. His upcoming album will be huge. No doubt about it. It just killing me to have to wait for it.

I am so happy that DC won idol.It was hands down and had been for weeks as far as im concerned.
I have pre-ordered the upcoming cd and just watch it will be an enormous success.
I love this song.It brings goosebumps each time i listen to it.He has an impeccable voice!It took several times listening to the lyrics but if you really really listen deeply to Davids lyrics its amazing the message he delivers.Truly a remarkable person, and I wish him all the luck and he will always have my continued support as he did from the first audition i saw.
