Super-Bright 9 LED Heavy-Duty Compact Aluminum Flashlight - Jet Black

this light is great when its working, but it cuts on and off and i can't figure out why. when i first got it i couldn't get it to turn on and i found out that you have to have the cap on really tight for it to work, but later when i actually needed it i couldn't get it to work right. it'll stay on for a while, then turn off and i have to mess with it for a couple of minutes for it to turn back on. i haven't figured out the trick yet.

I've had this flashlight for at least three weeks now and while most of the time it provides a very bright light usually there is a noticeable flicker. Otherwise the flashlight does it's job though it would be nice both the base and the head were detachable as opposed to only the base. There is a review in the gunmetal silver version of this flashlight where the reviewer talks about soldering over the original printed circuit board (PCB) with copper which eliminates the flickering but the PCB is located at the head of the flashlight so I am unsure as to how he got to it.

this product failed from the moment i placed the batteries in it. the light suddenly turns off by itself and you have to hit it against your palm for it to come back on. Then it goes right back off. Do not buy!

Wow, this really puts out the light. Great when traveling or reading in bed when your spouse says I need to go to sleep! Whether in a strange house or hotel, this is the flashlite to have around. Every handy because of its size to fit anywhere you need when packing it in your travel bags. Also, in the car or garage to find things or signal a car to stop on a highway in an emergency.

Flashlight is great for the price. A similar light at Fry's costs around $15. Very bright that you can't even stare at it from 9 feet away. at 6 feet it provides a 2 foot diameter light. great emergency light for car, bedroom. Uses 3 AAA batteries.
