Westinghouse 7861500 Contempra Trio Three-Light 42-Inch Five-Blade Ceiling Fan, Brushed Nickel with Frosted Globes

This product required 80 minutes installation time by a professional, and one of the glass globes arrived broken. Otherwise, it seems to work well.

The fan definitely looks great at a decent price. After spending over 4 hours to fix it and get it to run, I found out that it makes noise while running.
The manual says - leave it on for 24 hours for the bearings to settle and the noise to go away. So, We left the fan on for more than 24 hrs, but the noise didnot go away. The light fixture was defective as well. One of the 3 glass holders wouldnt fit in!!!
I finally gave up and spent another 1 hour to take it out. Replaced it with another one I bought at lowes for the same price. After spending another 4 hours, we fixed the new one and it works like a charm.
Such a waste of my time!!!

I ordered this fan for my daughter's room(12x12). It was perfect for a smaller bedroom. very easy to use(the fan/light pulls are actually labeled!). I installed in myself in a couple of house. Directions were great. Love it!

This product just as it said it would be. It was very easy to put up too. It only takes decorative lights and at first I thought I wouldn't like that, but its PLENTY of light and it looks a lot nicer than those big bulbs that my other ceiling fans had. I will be purchasing more of these for the rest of my house.

After reading the reviews I expected to have problems with the fan - not so! A friend with expertise in electronics put up the fan without a problem (we did have to get wall screws-832-instead of wood screws that came with the fan) other than that is was a breeze - pun intended!
