Toro Ultra 12 Amp Variable Speed Electric Blower/Vacuum With Metal Impeller #51599

I am over 60 yrs. old and love this product. I ordered a 100 ft electrical cord,( do wish this product was gas powered) It is limited, but it does the job quickly and is quieter than other vac/blowers of this type/.

I was planning on buying a gas powered blower/vac for our yard. We have about an acre of ground, but with multiple mature hardwood trees, the amount of leaves is staggering. I read the reviews and it appeared that the Toro blower/vac was a good choice. I picked it up and couldn't agree more. I use the blower to push the leaves into long rows, then mulch them. I've poured the mulch into the compost pile, veggie garden and flower beds.

A couple of points to note:

1. Sticks and twigs can clog the intake, so try and vac around them.
2. It works on wet leaves, but they do tend to clog on the back end by the bag.
3. Hickory nuts tend to slow the impeller down. I've learned to avoid vacumming the area of the yard that are heavy with these nuts.

Other than that, what a fantastic item for the price.

Excellent product...very impressed with the power it had..light to hold and just as powerful as the pros..Liked my neighbors so much that I bought one!!!

Opted for the electric over gas because of all the hassles associated with gas blowers breaking down after only a season. This unit works great and mulches pretty well. Easy to control, light weight, simple to switch between blower and vacuum. With numerous twigs and nuts in the yard, the metal impeller is a must.

previously had a toro--nothing special. this one is special. great power. easy to use. excellent value. and again great sefvice from amazon. buy it!
