Annoying Tuner and Setup... Nice TV otherwise
The picture is good. The sound is OK. The built in HD is a nice bonus. Why is the tuner sooooo SLOW!? It takes a good second or more for the picture to come up when you change the channel. As a matter fact, when you change the channel the picture won't come on before you can change to the next channel. Making channel surfing impossible to tediously slow. I only have basic expanded cable and it takes over 5 minutes to surf every channel if I wait for the picture to come up on each station. Doesn't sound like a long time but try it yourself and see how long it normally takes. Extremely annoying! Also, the channel programming menu sucks. To add or delete a channel you have scroll through a slow moving list of every single channel to add/delete. You can't just go to a channel and hit add/delete. It has to be done in the setup menu where you can't preview the actual channels. DVD player seems to work ok but, it did have some problems recognizing a disc the other day. I had to eject it and replace before it picked up. The TV itself looks nice. It has a very glossy frame around the screen and the speakers are barely noticeable. I have it mounted on a swing arm over a bar area and needed the built in DVD player. This was the most affordable($303)one I could find that was made by a top manufacturer. A comparable model from Sanyo was a $100 more.

nice tv, good dvd quality, tinny sounding speakers.
I am overall satisfied with this tv, I love its design, the fact that it is white and good looking, similar to my iMac computer, and I wanted an energy star rated tv, that uses less wattage than my 1984 Mitsubishi 19" tv . The picture is not quite as good as my old 84 Mitsubishi, but it is reasonably close. I still have to use my cable box (which I hate) from Cox cable to get some channels, though I can get many channels without the box. The pedestal is excellent, it tilts up or down to give a much better viewing angle, and the picture is easily viewable from any angle in my living room of my condo. The pedestal also has excellent non-slip feet that gives it a good footing on my tv stand, plus there are straps you can tie the tv down with (as I have to the stand itself). I just have to figure out if I must have a receiver to add a couple of better speakers, an amplifier, or what. Overall, i am pleased with this purchase.

Great Product - Great Price
I purchased this TV for my daughter when she moved to her own place and she loves it. I had compared the picture quality in the store before purchasing it and it was far superior to any others of similar size. She also doesn't know what all the comments are about the volume - she never has it up over 4 or 5 - if so, it is too loud! DVD player is great - includes closed captioning and all regular features. A terrific value for the price.

A Great Set and Value
This was my first TV I have bought online it arrived in perfect condition. It has great picture quality and DVD part it is easy to work.

The only slight downside is the sound volume is a little low even on its highest setting. It is a good value.

Toshiba 19LV505 19 inch 72p LCD HD tv Good so far
I have had this TV only about 3 weeks. It works very well. I was pleased that I was able to use a isolating COAX splitter adapter backwards to get both the cable channels and the local analog channels (while they last). I connected my rabbit ears antenna and my cable to the adapter output and the input jack to the TV. I thought that was neat since I couldn't get my Samsung to work that way. With the Samsung I have to go through a confusing gyration of menus to see the analog stations or to get back to the cable stations.
