Barbie Girls 1GB MP3 Player - Gold - Store 240 Songs!

After just 2 days, the control buttons stopped working, it looks like it's too cheap and the buttons just got out of place, I had to open it and fix it, only 2 days after I purchase it, it's very inexpensive for a 1 GB MP3 player, it's nice and the girls love to change their clothes, but from my point of view, if it does not work, what's the use? So maybe mine came broken, if you want to take the risk, it may be worth the money, thanks.

MY 5 YEAR OLD LOVES THIS MP3 PLAYER SHE LOVES CHANGING THE CLOTHES AND LISTENING TO IT. THE HEADPHONES BROKE RIGHT AWAY BUT I HAD AN EXTRA PAIR SOOOO EASY TO UPLOAD MUSIC TO MY DAUGHTER BRINGS IT EVERYWHERE IT IS SO CUTE!!!

My 8 and 5 years old love this toy. I had to buy one for each one of them. The price was under 20 bucks each. It comes with 1GB and you can expand to another GB with an inexpensive SD card. It also comes with two complete attires for your kid to play.
Works right out of the box with Windows Media Player 11, no need to install pesky extra software.
Rechargeable battery is a plus.
Cons: It doesn't seem too durable, no LCD to find tracks, your child will have to fast forward through the entire song to find the song they want.
Overall a great buy for the price, keeps your children busy if they like music.

For the amount of money I paid for this (which I'm sure will be censored, so I won't post it), this is a great MP3 player for little kids. Sure, it's missing features that my iPhone or Zune have, but this is a gift for a 3.5 year old. She doesn't need a screen, right?

For what it does (plays music), it does a great job. Setting it up was CAKE, and I am not very tech-savvy. Just for those reasons alone it gets 5 stars from me. I'm not sure about the durability yet, but again, for the price I'm not too worried about it ;)

I can't wait for Christmas-- she is going to be so excited to have her own "music player"!

This is a great little MP3 player. My husband is very into music and was quickly able to load this up. My daughter has had this for about 9 months and it's still working great after all the abuses a 5-year-old can dish out.

PROS: Holds a lot of songs. The volume level does not go too loud to protect those young ears. There are very few controls - volume, forward and reverse, which makes it super easy for young ones to operate. The ear buds are small - perfect for little ears! Plugs in and works with iDogs and iHome products.

CONS: The pads for the ear buds fall of fairly easily, so I'm constantly finding them just before the vacuum does. This player does not interact with iTunes, so you need to either have the songs loaded on a computer from CDs, or have purchased them from an alternate online source.

Overall, a great 1st MP3 player.
