LAZERTAG Multiplayer Battle System

This is an awesome laser game. We didn't enjoy the tv part as much as the action of playing with a friend. It can't really compete with Wii and Playstation but the real life laser game was an all day expereience. My 18 year old nephew even had a ball with it on Christmas Day!

This lazer tag package got a lot of use over the xmas holidays inside and out of our house. The guns have some neat features and are surprisingly accurate and have good range. We have successfully tested the guns at 25 feet with no problems in the house. The only "slight" drawback that I have found so far is that it requires 6 AA batteries to run each gun, although we have not had to replace them yet and we have used them for many hours. All in all, a great toy.

I bought this for my 9 year old for Christmas and the whole family loves it. It works really well inside and outside. It appears to be very durable. He is already asking for two more so that he can get more friends to play.

Impressive size and colorful. My 9 year old nephew went crazy for it. Only problem was the 12 double a batteries we needed. I didn't think to look to see what batteries were needed. Once purchased the toy was the biggest hit of the holiday.

The review herein by Greg A. Gaub is excellent. These are great, fun toys that provide hours of inside and outdoor entertainment for kids and adults of all ages. That said, I bought three pairs (six total) of these LazerTags and two of the guns were defective straight out of the box. Their re-load mechanisms did not re-load the guns, making the guns useless. It is quite a high defect rate (33%) for two of six guns not to work from new. So hold on to your receipt/warranty in case you need to return for replacement or repair. (Note: I bought my guns from Amazon US, but live in the UK, so I was unable to return easily the guns to Amazon for replacement. But I HAVE gotten the guns to work again by taking them apart and tweaking/adjusting two electrical contacts in the guns' handles. The contacts were not making adequate contact when the re-load mechanisms were activated. Making the guns work again wasn't easy, and I don't know how long my 'repairs' will last.)
