MGA Zapf Creation Snuggly Chou Chou 19" Doll

I bought this doll for my granddaughter in 2007 and she still loves it. I bought the clothes for it and also the stroller and all in all these are part of her everyday play. She is 4 now.
Highly recommended.

This doll was the ONLY thing our little 2 year old granddaughter asked for at Christmas and we were so upset to see that it DOES in fact require batteries in both the doll and the necklace(contrary to the description of it that says "no batteries required") but the necklace does absolutely NOTHING to the doll. We even shortened the necklace thinking it was because she was so short and the necklace was actually hanging down by her bellybutton, but it still didn't make any difference. It upsets my granddaughter because she can't Chou Chou to stop crying and that is HORRIBLE. They need to revamp this doll or just stop making them all together!

My darlin 4 year old grandaughter really loves this doll! She's cute and cuddly. I think the price was right reasonable and I would recommend it to anyone.

My daughter received this Chou Chou and the Mommy Make me Better Chou Chou. She does not like this one, it was not at all worth the money paid. If I could return it I would. the Mommy Make Me Better is a great doll and she plays with it all the time. This one sits in her baby crib. Although it is a 'softer' doll than the other, it is awkward. It does not work with the necklace, or at least we have not noticed any difference in the baby and thd necklace, and it never shuts up. We have to turn it off.
