Polly Pocket Polly-Tastic Jumbo Jet Playset

This toy has difficulty staying level and upright. The floors are shallow and don't allow for much playspace. The large peices fell apart easily and became so frustrating my daughter didn't want to bother with it. She got more use out of pretending boot boxes were airplanes. The commercial makes it look good--not the case. Polly Pockets are fun but their design department for planes, cars (Polly's don't fit inside with their rubber clothes), pools etc. is pretty dumb...sorry!

My daugher received this gift on Christmas from her grandmother. The quality of the plane leaves much to be desired. The entire left side of the plane has fallen off several times, the wings continuously fall of and the toy itself if very unstable. When my 4 year old daughter turns the handle for the runway, the whole plane shakes and all of the furniture that is set up in the various rooms falls over of off entirely. The fabric clothes are virtually impossible to place on the doll - they keep falling off. All in all, I am very disappointed and my daughter is frustrated. I'm glad this was a gift; otherwise, I would feel as if I were totally ripped off!

I bought this plane for my 10 year-old daughter for Christmas 2007. She has played with this only about 5-7 times.

Each time she begins to play, the wings fall off or the helicopter pad doesn't click into position. Usually I spend about 15 minutes each time trying to repair so she and her friends can begin play. Finally, after much maneuvering, she and her friends play about 10 minutes, at which time something usually falls off our pops out of position.

I would suggest that if you decide to purchase this item (even though it is not worth the money), I would glue the wings and other pieces to save yourself future aggravation.

I would recommend buying the Polly Pocket limos/car or pool/waterfall sets instead. These sets usually cost about $10-$15 and my daughter loves them.

I do not recommend this product. By the end of the first day, one of the big wings had fallen off. Now all of the pieces (the runway, the heliopad, etc.) are dismantled. The "floors" are not level so the furniture slides off. I wish there would be a recall for a product that fails on so many levels. I have a Barbie Jumbo Jet from the 70s that my daughter plays with. Although you wouldn't think it's the most durable thing in the world, that old jet is just fine and this toy is scrap. They sure don't make 'em like they used to.

This is the cutest toy, my 4 year old loves it!!!! When it isn't in pieces, that is! One side of the plane continually falls off, the runway sticks and cannot move, the wings of the plane do not attach well and as a result live in a pile next to the plane on the floor and the floors within each wing are not level so EVERYTHING FALLS OFF OF THEM EVERY 2 minutes!!!! If I don't play with her so that I can fix things as they break, my daughter gets very frustrated with it! It truly is junk - do not purchase this unless you like being frustrated!!!
