Transcend 16GB SDHC CARD (SD 2.0 SPD CLASS 6) with Compact Card Reader

The combination of a USB card reader and 16 GB SDHC memory card is handy. I use this combo to backup my PC's most important working files and Outlook email PST file since they don't all fit on a rewritable DVD. I also use this to transfer files between computers. This combo was less expensive than the same capacity USB flash drive (at the time I purchased) and more flexible since I can use cheaper SD cards that also work in my digital camera.

It would have been nice to include a little protective storage case for at least the SD card, but I'll just use my old CF card cases I don't need anymore.

I purchased this combo to use with my new Canon FS100 SD Flash Camcorder. Both the memory and the card reader work great.

The card reader is very basic, It has no cover for the USB connector or anything to keep dust out of the SD slot. I simply keep my spare card in the slot to keep it from collecting dust, dirt or lint.

The SD card does feel ever so slightly loose in the reader but this has never had an effect on its ability to read the card.

Over all, I am very happy.

I love my 16Gig SDHC memory card - captured my nephew's wedding and brother's band music all on one tiny card, but the coolest thing is the USB card reader... the slots that came on my computer won't read SDHC but that isn't stopping me now!

What made me sad is that it seemed I have paid double freight when I bought two SDHC cards together, there was no discount. As to the product quality, it seemed OK.

Nice and fast card , great addition for my Cowon D2 also would be a great card for any camera. The included reader work's like a dream.

Buy 2 there cheap!
