Be prepared to be scared off your feet!
I played this blu-ray on my surround sound system and it literally frightens anyone that is calmly seeing the scenes and all of sudden...the HULK appears. The quality of picture and the audio is fantastic! Even for those that hate comic book based movies, it's a must see!

Which Actors/Actresses Ruined the Movie
This version of the Incredible Hulk had the potential to be a really good movie. I found the final fight scene to be epic. It was everything it should've been. But I didn't rate this movie over four stars based on the fact that Liv Tyler & William Hurt killed the movie with their bad overracting. I'm not speaking about their acting skills overall based on a long term basis. In this movie that should have cast someone else to do the parts because i got so sick of seeing Liv's character crying all the time or jumping in the way. She reminded me of the classic termed "stupid white girl" in all the horror flicks. The one who goes to investigate all the noises and goes into the creepy houses. And you wonder why you get killed. But I digress from my point if you want to skip through their acting and focus more on the action, then it's bound to be a better movie. It just seems like the only two good actors in the whole movie were edward norton and tim roth, even mr.blue's character reminded me of a prepubescent boy who's just touched his first boobie in reference to his blantant overexcitement at meeting "bruce banner". I'm liked your supposed to be an intelligient scientist not a 10yr old girl meeting Miley Cyrus for the first time.

The Incredible Hulk
After seeing both Hulk movies I do prefer this newer one to the earlier offering. The actor portraying the Hulk (Norton) I feel fits the role much better. Norton has an intensity that the former actor (Bana) lacked. I'm also glad that this movie did away with the divided screen comic book style which the earlier film relied heavily on. Liv Tyler is every bit as good in the role of the former love of the Hulk's as Connelly was in the earlier film. I'm also relieved that the storyline doesn't include one similar to the Nolte/ Bana in the former film. Every time Nolte was on the screen I felt he took the film in a strange direction and sucked the air right out of it. It brought the whole movie down with it. One thing that this film does do is that it doesn't replace the former film in that the storyline picks up where the other Hulk left off. Anyone who enjoyed the 1st film will like that aspect. This movie I can stand to watch again several more times.

MARVEL STUDIOS HITS 2 FOR 2 WITH "THE INCREDIBLE HULK!" (Some Spoilers)
Marvel Studios followed their exceptional "Iron Man" with "The Incredible Hulk," another terrific comic book adaptation. Dispensing with the overall seriousness of the previous film, the Ang Lee-directed "The Hulk," this film returns to the storyline as seen in the 1978 television show. In fact, one of the film's pluses is that it brings elements from the show into the film, such as Lou Ferrigno, who lends his voice to the Hulk, as well as a cameo appearance as a security guard; and the TV theme makes a welcomed return.
While not as good as "Iron Man," this is a terrific film that features some awesome action sequences, terrific visual effects and fine storytelling. The performances are good as well. Edward Norton is great as Bruce Banner, bringing the character elements that Bill Bixby made famous, while also adding some great little character nuances, while not making the character too dark or depressing, such as Tobey McGuire did in the overrated "Spider-man" films. The beautiful and talented Liv Tyler provides some smarts and sexyness as Banner's love interest, while William Hurt and Tim Roth give menacing performances as Banner's villainous rivals. And a welcomed cameo by Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark is not only memorable, but also continues the march toward "The Avengers" in 2011.
With "The Incredible Hulk," Marvel Studios has made two well-done superhero films. If you enjoyed the original TV series or the comic books, then you'll surely enjoy "The Incredible Hulk!"
