The best Spiderman game of all times
This game is REALLY GREAT, it alows you to play, meet and fight with a lot of Marvel Comis heroes and Villians, with the Wii cantrols you fells like you are swinging like spiderman, and when you complete the missions you can unlock many many many fights combos, and you can use all the spiderman costumes (armored, ben reilys, black etc), if you are a fan of Spiderman and fight/zombie games this is a must have. Very Fun!!!! With Good Video Graphics to Boot!!!!
Wow, what a fun game. A game where the story is in perspective, and a very intriguing one at that. Spider-man has always had a bountiful amount of villains, and now we get a game that doesn't just throw in the cliche super heroes and villains that we see in all of the other Spider-man games; despite the fact that there is Venom who is been in every comic book spider-man game. Though Venom is essential to Spider-man, like X-men and Magneto.
The game having very fun combat system does have a mildly weird control scheme. Now, you can't change it, but you can learn it...and in a few minutes you get the hang of it...although at first it does feel kind of awkward. The fact that you are guided by cool superheros such as Moon Knight,Luke Cage, Wolverine, and more.
With interesting boss fights and memorable good or bad decision choices/videos,extra costumes, and upgradeable moves this makes one game thats worth buying.
PS. the camera does get crazy at times...but it just makes your heart start pumping for more.

Don't believe the hype!!..
Once again! The Wii gets another port and it has bugs.
The only new thing about this game is the story line and everything else is the same old web slinging around the city fighting thugs and helping the locals.
Most third party developers don't have interest in the Wii, Their too lazy to make games from ground up on the Wii, So they just port them from the PS2 and just add motion controls to them. Just look how they take their time making such top notch games on the other consoles(360,PS3) and the Wii gets the watered down versions(PS2).
Don't cheat your self out of [...]..It's not worth it!
Don't believe the other reviewers giving this rubbish 5 stars, Just because it's Spider-Man don't mean it's a good game.

Best Spidey game on the Wii yet, which isn't really saying too much
Spider-Man hasn't had too good a track record on the Wii so far. Spider-Man 3 was awful, and while Friend or Foe wasn't as bad, it still wasn't much of an improvement. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows seems to be a step in the right direction, as this game doesn't feel like just another port, and actually feels like it was made with the Wii in mind. Case in point the Wii-mote and nunchuk controls which are much better implemented this time around, as you swing through New York City taking on baddies. Playing as Spidey and being able to alternate between the classic and black costumes, you swing around New York City cracking heads and saving citizens, which is pretty much what we've been doing since Spider-Man 2. However, what's different with Web of Shadows is that the game rarely becomes boring and the missions rarely become tedious to boot. Also, the game's story is a surprising blast to play through. The longer you play Web of Shadows, the more you'll get enthralled, particularly in its final acts where the symbiotes begin to wreak havoc. The ability to (somewhat) choose your own path depending on your actions is a plus, and there's plenty of appearances from familiar faces on the sides of heroes and villains as well. The only real flaws of Web of Shadows are technical ones. There are some noticeable graphical glitches and sound hiccups, plus a few issues with the in-game camera. Still, swinging around New York City has never been more fun or easy to do, and the game manages to stay entertaining from start to finish. All in all, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows for the Wii finally finds the web-head getting a game on the Wii that's worthy of him. Let's just hope the next time around that Activision and Treyarch add some more polish and really deliver something special. Sunday, November 9th, 2008
