Great bike!
This bike is great! My daughter loves it, and it gives me peace of mind knowing that she is safer being behind my husband, rather than driving all over the road on her own! The only drawback for us is that I can't pull her behind my bike because the attachment goes under the bicycle seat, and I have to raise the seat so much that I cannot touch the ground with it up that high. Doesn't feel safe for me to have to fall over to get off and drag her down with me, lol. Other than that...we love it! Tuesday, May 27th, 2008

Bike Trailer
I received this trailer very quick and was partially assembled. It was a great price and my daughter now can ride along with me and thinks she's a big kid. I looked around quite a bit on the internet and I'm glad I came across this bike trailer. We can take this to the campground and people think this setup is really cool. Tuesday, May 27th, 2008

Great Bike for the Price.
First off, we have 26" (wheels) Beach Cruisers and the bike fits perfectly.
We purchased this bike so our 3 1/2 year old could accompany us on rides when the enclosed trailers got less practical. In short; he loves it. For the first 5 minutes he kept asking me to slow down, but now I hear nothing but "Faster, Daddy! Faster!".
Assembly was quick and fairly straight-forward, you will need to attach the handle-bars, seat and flag. The seat-post receiver has 4 bolts that attach quite snugly (make sure that you screw them in equally to get the proper contact from the plates to the post).
The bike itself plugs in quickly and securely with a thumb-release pressure bolt that must be removed completely to attach/remove it from the post secured unit. In addition to regular maintenance needed for any bike, the area I suggest you keep an eye on is the vertical bolt securing the L/R pivoting joint; it seems to have come loose on the first one we bought and we lost the whole end-piece while it was on the bike rack.
The bike pulls quite smoothly and I do not feel much drag when he is not pedaling. The first few times the passenger decides to shift his/her weight around on the bike can give you some side-to-side pressure which requires a bit of getting used to, but this is true of any bike trailer I would think.
The little splash-guard on the frame of the bike is nice when you hit a little puddle or kick up some debris.
It fits nicely on a bike rack with the arm extended (as in the picture) and folds up nicely for storage.
The bike is of a better quality than the price would suggest, and would recommend it to anyone.

Get a professional
Get a professional to install this and you will love it. My daughter has been reluctant to learn to ride a bike. She is 9 and they just don't make training wheels for bikes her size! LOL So we attached this one and it was great! I kept her balanced while she got over any fears and learned to lean with the turns and not wobble while we rode.
The reason that I recommend getting a professional to install it is that if the bracket is not perfectly strait and REALLY tight the co-pilot falls over. This happened, and dumped her right into a mud puddle!
The professional replaced the bolt that locks the bracket with a quick release bolt that tightens really well and makes it easier to store. He was also able to align them up strait so there was less problems.
After just 3 months of riding the one mile to school every day (and back) she now rides her own bike with the same level of skill as the other children her age!

Family Bike Rides are finally a reality!
The wee ride co pilot is great! I just bought my wife and I cruisers and my 4 year old has his own small bike. He's too young to go very fast and has trouble on hills because he still has training wheels. I bought this and now I don't have to worry about where he's riding and his Mom and I can go at our pace. He loves it and is much more comfortable than on his own bike. The hinge swings beutifuly and the bracket that attaches to the adult bike is very solid. The reviewer who said it turns on the seat post didn't spend more than a few minutes wiht the bike before writing that. You have to loosen the hinge bolt so that the arm swings and doesn't tork on the post. Disconnecting and reconnecting the bike can be done in less than a minute. I don't see why anyone would spend the extra dollars on the expensive tows. Thursday, May 8th, 2008
