DOESNT CUT IT
I received this trimmer on June 25, I have my return verification number today, June 26. First off the wheels couldn't go over the smallest pebble when using the edger. It edged well...But the muscle just usn't there with this 18v battery. The auto line feed feature which was a main reason I bought this, didnt work at all..I constantly had to stop and manually pull the line out to length. When they say the Weak Battery last 20 - 30 minutes...They aren't kidding. With any amount of edging and trimming around landscaping in your front and back yard..this will die before you finish..I ended up getting my Toro Old faithful Gas trimmer out again to finish the job. There is a HUGE difference in power between this and a Gas trimmer, which I expected. I can't reccommend this one, When I called to find out about returning it, they offered me a discount to keep it, which I declined...I always buy Quality tools to use around the yard..And this aint it..Im surprised ROBIN HARTL is involved with this VERY WEAK trimmer. ONLY LAST ONE YEAR
I purchased this product on 06/13/2007 and it only worked for one year. This product stop working on 06/13/2008. So, I call this product the "Only last one year" product.
I would not recommend that anyone purchase this product. Go to your local hardware store and buy something else.

poor edger/trimmer
the worx gt is lightweight and that is the only plus. The egder doesn't cut thick grass or weeds. it is a poor edger and trimmer. the trimmer doesn't cut the grass around the foundation of my house. The line doesn't auto shoot like the company describes. The line cuts and goes inside of the machine and you have to flip the machine, open it up and pull the strand out (which is hard to pull out) then manually thread it. The line cut two times in four minutes after I took the time to rethread it. I am returning this thing today. this item is only good if you have thin, soft grass, and no Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

Disappointing
This item does, work but very ineffectively. Recommended only for those with a very small yard or very light duty weed edging needs. Does not do a very good job of cutting normal grass. My wife probably will use it only for trimming between some of her flowers. Monday, June 23rd, 2008

It is awesome until you try and use it.
So I was so excited about this product because it seemed to light and innovative. I played with it to get familiar with it before I used it and I thought it was great. it is light, versitile and comfortable. Here comes the bad part. the line seemed to deteriorate in a matter of seconds. I was go about 6 inches before I needed to get it to so called automatically feed. you have to let it stop spinning completely and then you start it back up and it feeds a couple millimeters out which isn't enough, so you have to stand there for a few minutes repeating the process before you can have enough line to go another 6 inches. I quickly missed my very easy bump feed system. I can totally see why and how they can do the so called life time free cord given the fast waste and small quanity of the cord. They charge 9$ S&H and make almost 5$ each time you do it which seems like it would be pretty frequently. I was very relieved that I purchased this from Costco at the pleading of my wife so I did not have to eat the S&H and I was able to return it to the store very easily. Sunday, June 22nd, 2008
