So good so far.... I haven't used this one much yet but I have another WD hard drive that I've been using for a few years now with no complaints. The other drive is the same as this one just a smaller capacity. I bought the 320 to replace my Seagate 320 that crashed after less than a year of ownership.... POS! I've talked to several people who have had the same problem with Seagate hard drives.

I got this for my new Alu macbook specifically for timemachine, music, pic and videos since i didnt want to clog my macbook with those stuff. soo far this external hard drive is very reliable, very slim, and light(drop it in a friends hands and her hands dropped thinking it was heavy lol ). love the fact that its usb powered

on the other side its very shiny, finger print magnet and gets scratched very fast. i scratched mine the same day i got it just by wiping it with a cleaning cloth removing dust off it. Also, sometimes you can feel the vibration when the disk spins and its kinda irritating sometoimes and if its still connected to my laptop after i ejected it there is a loud click when the pc goes off.

But apart for then i love it, very good external hard drive.
