Bounty Hunter VLF Metal Detector

I BOUGHT THIS METAL DETECTOR FOR MY HUSBAND... HE AND OUR FAMILY HAVE HAD FUN AND SUCCESS FINDING ALL SORTS OF THINGS WITH IT ON OUR FAMILY RANCH. IT WAS ONE OF THE LESS EXPENSIVE DETECTORS SO I WAS WORRIED ON HOW WELL IT WOULD BE ~ BUT I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH IT. IT IS A GOOD VALUE.

The device has no English manual, luckily I can read French. It has no real sensitivity setting other than ON and OFF.

It cannot detect objects unless they are right above the ground. It can't even detect a penny under a book!

Waste of money, plan to return it.

The price is great, it worked great right out of the box. It is easy to figure out how to use it - I was out in the yard finding bits of metal, etc. 20 minutes after I unpacked it. I purchased one for myself, and one for a gift for my brother.

It may be a bit loud, but for the price, it does the job. If we drop a nail or screw somewhere in our gravel driveway, we can find it fast. So far, it is doing well.

This product works very well for the amount of money that it costs. For anyone who is a hobbyist this is a perfect tool for what you need. It seems to be sensitive enough to pick up items that you would think would be out of reach of it, but it will surprise you. Great value for the money.
