Works well
I was at first attracted to the Waterpik Ultra Cordless Dental Water Jet to use in the shower but a common review theme was the need for frequent refills during use and poor engineering. I therefore turned to the WP-100 countertop model featuring a much larger resevoir. With a month experience I quickly learned how not squirt water all over the bathroom and overall I'm satisfied with it. The wide range of jet strength settings is great. I add a little mouthwash to the resevoir for a nice clean feeling after use and I typically use a whole resevoir of this solution during one cleaning. The unit comes with two of the standard jet tips which is enough for me but it also includes several other specialized tips that some will find useful. The only minor shortcoming in my opinion is the blue button that temporarily stops the jet while it is pressed. It would be nice to have an on/off valve on the handle instead of the momentary press-off valve, but this is a minor point and I quickly got used to the momentary off button. I recommend this product.

Dentist-clean feeling!
My dentist recommended I get one. Now I understand why, but can't understand how I could've gone so long without one! totally addictive!

very satisfied
I am very pleased with this product. The only thing was that I wish the storage up above would be able to fit all attachements when not in use.

Takes a little "getting used to . . ."
When I first tried my new WaterPik, it was such a disaster that I nearly gave up and didn't try it again. However, I did use it again -- and again an again, and I've gotten pretty adept at using it. It does a really good job of rinsing your mouth with high pressure water. You have to be ready to have some water splashing down in the basin because you have to keep your mouth cracked to let the excess water run out. I use it at the end of my regimen, after a gum stimulator, flossing and regular brushing. It leaves your mouth really fresh, sweet and clean.
